Coach or manage? All organizations have “managers,” but what separates a good manager from a great manager is how you address situations in your workplace. Coaching involves exploring, teaching, facilitating long-term relationships and long-term improvement. Managing is directing telling, authority and immediate needs to get to a specific outcome. Put yourself in an employee’s shoes and think of what you would rather have……a coach or a manager?
Create opportunities for employees. Employees want to know there is growth opportunity in your organization. When this Is shown, your employee will see that putting more effort into their job will give them that opportunity of growth. No one wants to stay stagnant in their position as this will result in boredom and eventually lead to less motivated employees in your organization.
Give positive feedback to your employees. Positive feedback ought to be given to inspire workers and to provide them the dedication they should do their finest work. But constructive and corrective suggestions can also be important, in particular, when there’s an issue that must taken to prevent further negative effects.
Continue to teach good employees. Employees who are eager to learn will show you that in some sort of form. Employees will feel that the company cares which results in a more positive employee morale. Those employees will be the ones who praise about your company to friends and family.
